Manchester United have been told by Leicester City that England centre-back Harry Maguire is not for sale, according to Sky Sports.
Jose Mourinho has been linked with Maguire after impressing for England at the World Cup.
The Daily Mail claimed United were in for Maguire two week’s ago, while yesterday they claimed Maguire was confident of moving to Old Trafford this summer.
Sky Sports also report that Maguire, who is due to return from holiday in the next few days, is keen on a move to Manchester, but Leicester do not want to sell.
They rate the player in the £65million bracket, but the source reports “Maguire is not for sale and will not be leaving the club this window”.
It will come as a big blow to Mourinho and what could make it worse is that alternative target Yerry Mina is close to a move to Everton.
Spanish sources AS and Mundo Deportivo have reported that Mourinho is chasing the Colombia centre-back, but Everton have lodged an improved £27million offer and a deal is close.
Goal claim Everton are getting closer to a deal after making an improved offer to Barcelona for the 23-year-old.
