€20m Arsenal man sets heart on Milan after making up mind over future
Hector Bellerin has got his heart set on a move to AC Milan after deciding to quit Arsenal this summer, claims a report.
The right-back has been out of the plans of Mikel Arteta recently. In fact Bellerin has made only two league appearances since Arsenal were beaten by Manchester City on February 21. The Spaniard was hammered on social media after needlessly kicking the ball out of play against City. And Calciomercato.it, via Sport Witness, reported Bellerin wass “ready to leave” The Emirates.
Now Todo Fichajes have backed up those claims and reported that Bellerin wants to seal a move to Milan.
The Rossoneri could well be looking for a right-back this summer as they only have Diogo Dalot on loan from Manchester United.
The outlet mention a fee of €20m for the player, who has been at the club since 2012.
Paris Saint-Germain have also been linked to Bellerin, although Serge Aurier is another option for Mauricio Pochettino.
Calciomercato also report that Bellerin though does have other options with the Italian outlet claiming Juventus and Inter Milan are interested in him.
No “concrete negotiations” have transpired as yet though, but the Serie A duo remain keen. However, it seems like they will have to move quickly with Milan the preferred destination for the 26-year-old.

Man Utd target Maitland-Niles
Meanwhile, Manchester United are reportedly planning a shock swoop for Arsenal’s Ainsley Maitland-Niles this summer and have plans to alter his position.
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has been tipped to bring in some big-name recruits this summer to build on a solid season. But he also wants to provide competition for some of his established stars and give himself extra options. One such position is right-back, with Aaron Wan-Bissaka firmly entrenched as the club’s starter.
The former Crystal Palace man has made 67 top-flight appearances since moving to Old Trafford. But it has been suggested the Norwegian tactician is keen to have a more attacking alternative at his disposal.
And, according to The Daily Mail, Maitland-Niles is the man they want despite the impending return from Milan of Diogo Dalot. The Londoner, capped five times by England, has spent the second half of 2020-2021 on loan with West Brom.
