A trio of Arsenal players recorded top statistics this weekend, while Crystal Palace goalscorer Emmanuel Adebayor had a shocker in defeat to Watford.
Arsenal recorded a crucial late, late win over 10-man Leicester to close the gap on the league leaders and the Gunners had three men who topped the most chances created, most touches and most aerials won stats.
Per Mertesacker also produced a passing masterclass, Nacho Moreal – guilty of giving away a penalty after fouling Jamie Vardy – had an influential afternoon at The Emirates.
Chelsea’s 5-1 hammering of Newcastle saw Willian and Pedro hit nine-plus ratings, while Eden Hazard’s evening at Stamford Bridge wasn’t quite as successful and Adebayor was dispossess eight times as Palace were sunk 2-1 at home by Watford.
