Henri Bedimo: Linked with several clubs

Burnley, Middlesbrough and West Brom are set to lock horns along with two French clubs in a battle to sign Lyon full-back Henri Bedimo.

Before signing for Lyon back in 2013 for a reported fee of £1.5millon, Bedimo had spent time at a whole host of other French clubs including Chateauroux and Montpellier with whom he won the French league title with in 2012. This was also Montepellier’s first league title in the club’s history.

The Cameroon international is out of contract at Lyon at the end of this month and could leave the Ligue 1 club on a free transfer this summer.

Bedimo certainly has plenty of options once his contract expires as L’Equipe say that West Brom manager Tony Pulis and recently-promoted Burnley and Middlesbrough are all looking to sign the left-back.

The Premier league clubs however do face stiff competition from French clubs Marseille and Monaco, who are both also reportedly keen on keeping the 31-year old in Ligue 1 next season.

The Cameroon star looks to be keeping his options open though and move to the English top flight could prove too tempting to resist.
