Huddersfield Town are reportedly looking to raid Premier League new boys Wolves with a move for one of their star forwards.

The Mirror claims that David Wagner is desperate to add to his attacking firepower after welcoming the summer signings of Terence Kongolo from Monaco and Ramadan Sobhi from Stoke.

Wagner’s search has led him to winger Ivan Cavaleiro, who joined Wolves two years ago from Monaco for a fee of £7million.

Despite the fact he scored nine goals in their promotion season in 2017-18, Wolves’ Chinese owners apparently have “ambitious plans” and are ready to sell him to fund new signings.

In his two years at the Midlands club, the 24-year-old has scored 13 times for Wanderers in 70 appearances.

Cavaleiro was part of the Benfica side in 2013-14 which finished runners-up in the Europa League and one the first division in Portugal.
