As many as six Serie A sides are interested in signing departing Liverpool pair Daniel Sturridge and Alberto Moreno, a report claims.

Despite capturing a sixth European Cup in Madrid last weekend and coming painfully close to winning the Premier League, Jurgen Klopp is still expected to oversee a number of ins and outs this summer.

A major overhaul is not expected by any means, and the most notable bits of business could be trimming squad players, with Sturridge and Moreno set to leave on free transfers.

Both are on expiring deals and the latter is already attracting interest from Turkey, however reports in Italy suggest they may each have a pick of the clubs.

Lazio, Roma, Napoli, Juventus, Inter and Milan ‘could take advantage of the situation to pick up one of the players’, according to Football Italia.

Sturridge, 29, moved to Merseyside from Chelsea during January 2013 and went on to score 67 times in 160 appearances for the Reds.

Meanwhile Moreno, 26, joined the Reds from Sevilla in August 2014, playing 141 games for the Anfield club.

Klopp described both men as ‘remarkable players’, adding in a statement on the Liverpool website that everyone at the club should say “thank you” for their efforts.
