Eden Hazard: Happy to stay at Chelsea

Chelsea playmaker Eden Hazard says it would be “difficult to say no to PSG” after revealing that Champions League glory is his “main aim”.

Hazard has reignited speculation over his future and his tough time this term at Stamford Bridge has seen Real Madrid and PSG repeatedly linked with his services.

The Belgium star, who broke his Chelsea goal drought this season in the recent FA Cup win at MK Dons, has claimed that a move across the channel to Tuesday night’s Champions League opponents Paris Saint-Germain would be hard to turn down.

“(It is) difficult to say no to PSG, or to any of the teams capable of winning the Champions League,” the 25-year-old told Le Parisien.

“PSG are now in that category. And for me, winning the Champions League is my main aim.”

Hazard did then point out that his contract with Chelsea expires in 2020 and that he was not thinking of leaving.

“For the moment, I’m not really thinking about (a move),” added Hazard.

Hazard, who scored 21 times last season, has not been anywhere near as effective for Chelsea as he was in the title-winning side when he won the Football of the Year award. He only managed to net his first goal of the campaign for the Blues last month after 28 games without a goal.

The former Lille midfielder recently admitted he sent a message of apology to Jose Mourinho after the Portuguese manager was sacked in December.
