Jadon Sancho favours Man Utd over Liverpool, Chelsea due to one player

Borussia Dortmund winger Jadon Sancho reportedly prefers a move to Manchester United over Liverpool or Chelsea due to his budding friendship with Marcus Rashford.

The two attackers have become close while on international duty with England and Rashford could play a major part in helping Sancho adjust to life at Old Trafford, if the winger does head back to the Premier League this summer.

Rashford has recently admitted he would like Sancho to help him return the Red Devils to their former glory.

And the Athletic, via the Daily Express, claim that the feeling is reciprocated and the 20-year-old Dortmund star is keen to link up with his international colleague.

Both Liverpool and Chelsea have also been linked with bringing the talented attacker back to his homeland, but they are unlikely to want to shell out the £100million asking price.

That leaves United at the front of the queue to wrap up a deal this summer.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer has already admitted he is using the suspension of the Premier League season to help him work on his transfer targets.

Some clubs have been hit hard by the lack of income during the current lockdown, but the Red Devils boss insists United will be fine and will still have funds available for transfers.

Wes Brown wants Sancho to form deadly strikeforce

Former Manchester United defender Wes Brown has said that deals to sign either Sancho, Jack Grealish or James Maddison would be “perfect” for the Old Trafford club.

Speaking to MUTV, Brown explained that while Sancho would be his number one target, Grealish and Maddison both have attributes that would take Solskjaer’s side.

“I would have all three! Any one of those three would be great,” the former defender said. “Jadon Sancho would probably be No 1.

“But James Maddison looks fit and ready and determined and would also be a great asset for the club.

“Jack Grealish is an individual that gets things done, takes control of the game and has his own style. Any one of those three would be perfect I think.”
