Jadon Sancho dropped a sneaky hint about links with Liverpool during an Instagram Live Q&A session by Trent Alexander-Arnold.
England winger Sancho has been repeatedly linked with a move back to the Premier League after impressing over the past three seasons with Borussia Dortmund.
Sancho was allowed to move to Germany by Manchester City in 2017, and has since seen his value sky-rocket. It could take a nine-figure transfer sum to win the battle for his signature this summer, with three English clubs particularly interested.
Manchester United and Chelsea have both been linked with a move for the 20-year-old, but Liverpool could also have a chance of signing him should they make their interest concrete.
And asked if he would like Liverpool to sign Sancho, Reds right-back Alexander-Arnold said: “If he came to us, he’d make our team better.
“So, I’d be more than happy for him to come because I played with him at England and he’s a special, special, special, special talent.”
Intriguingly, Sancho himself then commented on Alexander-Arnold’s live stream with a simple tease of four eyes emojis – showing that he was aware of what his international teammate was saying.
However, the Premier League is not the only possible destination for the winger, with Barcelona also interested in luring Sancho away from Dortmund.
The La Liga champions are even prepared to sacrifice starlet Ansu Fati as part of a reduced cash-plus-player bid for the England international – although Barca would like to retain a buyback clause on their teenage sensation.
