Jurgen Klopp reveals why midfield star decided to quit Liverpool

Jurgen Klopp has lifted the lid on why midfielder Emre Can was allowed to leave Liverpool on a free transfer this summer.
The Germany star ended months of speculation last month when it was confirmed he had joined the reigning Serie A champions on a four-year deal – though the ‘free transfer’ set Juve back a staggering €16million.
Can also had the option to stay at Liverpool after becoming an important member of the engine room under Jurgen Klopp.
The midfielder had refused to keep all talk on his future under wraps while Liverpool remain in contention to win the Champions League.
“We always had and still have a good relationship,” Klopp told the Liverpool Echo. “I have no problem with a player leaving.
