Juventus beat Man Utd, Arsenal to £30m rising Swedish midfielder

Gervinho, Dejan Kulusevski TEAMtalk

Italian heavyweights Juventus have pipped Man Utd and Arsenal to the signature of Swedish rising superstar Dejan Kulusevski.

The 19-year-old has enjoyed a breakthrough season on loan at Parma from parent club Atalanta, and had attracted interest from some of the Premier League’s big spenders.

Man Utd were reported to have ‘seen a €25million approach rejected by Atalanta’  ahead of a proposed January move, but the club were reported to be looking for a fee closer to the €35million mark.

Netting four goals from his 17 league appearances, Kulusevski was rewarded with his first senior Sweden cap versus the Faroe Islands in November.

However, the giants from Turin have stolen a march on their English rivals by announcing via their official twitter channel the £30m capture of the youngster.

Kulusevski will return to Parma on loan for the remainder of the current campaign before linking up with his new Juventus teammates in the summer.

Meanwhile, Man Utd have been told why they must avoid signing the midfield duo of Emre Can and Jack Grealish.
