Juventus are reportedly ready to take on Serie A rivals Napoli in their bid to sign wantaway Tottenham right-back Kieran Trippier.
The England international is said to be ready to quit Spurs this summer, with reports on Monday claiming that the 28-year-old has already begun talks with Napoli over a summer switch.
Indeed, it’s been reported that Trippier’s wife was seen in Naples last week house-hunting.
However, Tuttosport states that Juventus and Inter Milan are also coming forward to discuss terms with Trippier’s representatives.
Napoli are still thought to be in the box set for Trippier, however, with their coach Carlo Ancelotti having seen the player at close hand during his spell in charge of Chelsea in England.
The report adds that the Naples club are willing to match his Spurs salary – €4m-a-year – to bring him to Italy.
However, Manchester United could yet through a spanner in the works, having been keen on the Bury native for some time, as Ole Gunnar Solskajer looks for two new full-backs this summer.
For their part, Spurs are already lining up Trippier’s long-term replacement – with Norwich City’s Max Aarons very much on their radar.
