Paulo Dybala: Manchester United links played down

Juventus have denied reports claiming Paulo Dybala may leave the club next month after the striker was linked with a shock move to Manchester United.

Dybala joined the Serie A champions in a 32million euros deal from Palmero over the summer, but despite scoring nine goals in 25 games so far for the club, he’s failed to make a big impression.

United have struggled to score goals this season with Wayne Rooney having scored just twice in the Premier League and Anthony Martial – currently their only-fit striker – netting three times in the league.

Dybala has been linked with a January move to Manchester United in recent weeks but Juve CEO Giuseppe Marotta has denied rumours the Argentine is set to leave Turin.

“We do not want to sell him neither this season nor in the following ones as we have invested a considerable sum on him,” Marotta told Mediaset.

“Dybala is a player who is growing and who has not yet shown his full potential.”
