Juventus tipped for transfer of ‘excellent’ Everton ace in January exchange

Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri is looking to ‘recover lost ground’ after his side’s slow Serie A start and an Everton star is said to be of particular interest.

Juventus have started the current Serie A campaign poorly, to say the least. The side currently sit in seventh place, 10 points behind top side Napoli.

The sale of Cristiano Ronaldo to Manchester United has done more damage than first expected. Boss Allegri wants to put things right, in order to recover lost ground in the title race.

One player of great interest to Juventus is Everton‘s Allan. Allegri is keen on bringing in proven talent, who will take no time to adapt.

“Massimiliano Allegri asked for a footballer whom they know very well from Napoli because he played some excellent football years in Campania: I refer to Allan,” transfer reporter Fabio Santini said via Area Napoli.

“As a partial counterpart, [Aaron] Ramsey could instead end up in England.”

Allan has featured in each of Everton’s Premier League fixtures so far this season. The midfielder has contributed to their impressive start of four wins from seven games.

The Brazilian is of interest to Juventus due to his ties to Serie A. He played 212 games for Napoli over the span of five years, and his impressive performances warranted a £22.5million move to Everton in 2020.

Should Juventus make an offer for Allan, it would have to be an attractive one. The midfielder still has two years left on his contract, so Everton are not in a desperate position.

Three Premier League clubs chasing Aaron Ramsey

Everton, West Ham and Newcastle are all reportedly chasing Aaron Ramsey, with more news on Dejan Kusulevski and Matthijs de Ligt.

However, Ramsey has been linked with a move back to the Premier League, and has been discussed as a part of this transfer.

Should Juventus add Ramsey as a part of the package, it could be a fair and fitting trade. Not only would it be good for the teams, but both players would return to countries they have spent most of their careers playing in.

Ramsey keen on Everton switch

The Juventus midfielder has been linked with a move back to the Premier League. Indeed, he has fallen down the pecking order in Turin of late.

Were Ramsey to return to the Premier League, where he spent the majority of his career, he would apparently be keen on playing for Everton.

West Ham and Newcastle have also been mentioned as clubs Ramsey could end up at.

With the position Everton find themselves in, and with Rafa Benitez at the helm, it is easy to see why Everton would be an attractive prospect.
