Juventus will make a shock bid to re-sign a Manchester United star should they lose a midfielder to Barcelona this summer, a report claims.
According to Turin-based newspaper Tuttosport, the Italian champions will explore the possibility of bring back Paul Pogba if Miralem Pjanic leaves for LaLiga.
Both Barca and Manchester City have been linked with Pjanic, but the Bosnia international is apparently keen to stay at Juve after the stunning signing of Cristiano Ronaldo.
However, it is likely that the Bianconeri would not turn down a huge offer for Pjanic, who joined from Roma in 2016.
They would then use any money recouped from his sale to fund an audacious bid to bring Pogba back to the Allianz Stadium.
Pogba joined United in a £89.3million deal in the summer of 2016 and has previously admitted he still has contact with a number of his former Juve teammates, including Paulo Dybala.
Barcelona have also been linked with a possible move for the 25-year-old, but during the World Cup he brushed aside all talk on his future, insisting he is solely focused on winning the tournament for France.
