Jurgen Klopp has spoken very highly about Chelsea ahead of Liverpool’s Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge on Friday night.
Diego Costa, Eden Hazard and Willian were all singled out by the German, with the former in particular attracting high praise.
“He’s world class,” announced Klopp. “If other supporters love you that’s not a good sign. He’s a warrior on the pitch.”
“Hazard was outstanding at Anfield last season but we didn’t defend against him too well. We will have to do better.”
Oscar, Willian, what a player, Matic, they brought in Kante & Luiz……. It’s a challenge but I feel good when I think about it.”
Klopp also revealed that Liverpool are far from the finished product and wants to see an improvement from his team despite coming up against a more mature squad.
He added: “There is still space for improvement and we need to improve for the Chelsea game. They have so much experience. We are much younger.”
“We are the challenger and we want to create problems for them.”
