Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp admits he can’t explain why his side were so poor with their final pass in their 1-0 victory over Huddersfield Town.
Mohamed Salah’s first-half strike was the difference between the sides as the Terriers had some opportunities of their own to score.
“It was a good game from Huddersfield and not so good game from us,” Klopp told BT Sport. “So we’ll take it.
“I sometimes look frustrated on the touchline even if were winning. The performance wasn’t 100% it looked like we could have scored in six or seven situations but we needed one better pass.
“We did lots of good things and then the last pass wasn’t good. How can I explain that? I need to look back at the game. The players weren’t great with their last pass.”
On Huddersfield’s winless start, Klopp added: “I watch most of Huddersfield’s game and they’ve played Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester City, Tottenham, Leicester, Everton… that is the hardest fixture list I’ve heard about.”
