Klopp set to make changes for Champions League trip to Naples

Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp is expected to make a couple of changes for the Champions League trip to Napoli.

The German has rotated his midfield so far this season and one of Georginio Wijnaldum, Jordan Henderson or James Milner could make way for Naby Keita, who was only a substitute for Saturday’s draw at Chelsea.

Adam Lallana did not travel with the squad as he continues his rehabilitation from a groin problem.

Ahead of the game, Wijnaldum praised team-mate Daniel Sturridge for his form this season, highlighting his work ethic in particular and saying he deserves an England recall.

The Holland international said: “I don’t know what he did in his pre-season, but he was quite fit.

“He has shown us he is quite important and we’ve seen him playing in a way he hasn’t before, dropping deep, defending. I think he deserves to be in the England squad.”

Klopp, meanwhile, believes Napoli counterpart Carlo Ancelotti is playing mind games with his praise of the German ahead of the game. Read the full story here…
