Tired of Hazard

Just sooo tired of hearing it from him directly, why can’t he be a pro and not answer the questions, you are employed by CFC currently and the fans will not begrudge you when you leave as you have done so much for the club, but goodness me stop taunting us or else f… off right now!!!!!

40/60 in favour of Madrid

I don’t want to say yes, I am signing a new contract’ and then in the end I don’t end up signing,” the 27-year-old told the media.

“I want what’s good for me, but I want what’s good for the club because the club has given me everything.

“So I will see. Sometimes in my head, I wake up in the morning and think I want to go. Sometimes I think I want to stay.

“It is a hard decision. It is my future.”

Hazard scored the opener as Chelsea beat Southampton 3-0 on Sunday to maintain their unbeaten start to the season.

The forward believes he has potentially one more big transfer before retirement, describing Spanish giants Real as the “best club in the world”.

“That’s why I spoke after the World Cup and I said that I think it is time to change because I played a great World Cup,” added Hazard, who said in July that “it might be time to discover something different” after six years at Stamford Bridge.

“I am playing good football at the moment.

“Real Madrid are the best club in the world. I don’t want to lie today. It is my dream since I was a kid. I was dreaming about this club.

“We will see. I don’t want to talk about this every day, I don’t have time. But we will talk about my future soon”

Nothing there that we didn’t pretty much know already Hazard is currently enjoying his football if we’re on for/ get a CL place I think we’ve half a chance of keeping him but to play for Real has been his dream since a boy so I can understand the draw.

It’s a dilemma for Hazard he’s happy at Chelsea and with living where he is and his family are happy too but Real are a big draw. The positive is that he hasn’t closed the door on signing a new contract with Chelsea and talks continue.

I reckon it’s probably 40/60 in favour of Madrid currently but they are a bit all over the place at the moment and that might ultimately be a factor whilst Sarri has settled well and we’re playing the football Hazard wants to play typified by that wonderful third goal v Southampton.

Here’s hoping!!!!!!!

All good points 9, what bothers me the most is the constant quotes from him where he confesses his love and admiration for another employer while CFC pays his bread and butter. what other employer will tolerate such behaviour. i will take 200 mil and see the back of him in the summer. CFC have existed without him and won everything there’s to be won without him so he can buzz off for all most fans care!

Zizi

Disagree Zizi. Hazard is being honest about where he stands. More than I can say for many other footballers who either lie, contradict themselves, blatantly prostitute themselves for a move or maintain a stoic silence whilst their unhappiness and frustration is blindingly obvious.

Hazard has ALWAYS loved Madrid..he said as much before he joined us. He’s given us 6 or 7 seasons of amazing football and has been a joy to watch. He’s also been a model pro whilst playing with a smile on his face 90% of the time. It’s been a blessing having a player of his calibre at Chelsea. Whilst I’ll surely miss him…what side or fan wouldn’t, I certainly don’t begrudge him his dream move to his boyhood club.

Stuilse

Zizi, sorry mate but I’m with Stuilse however I understand where you’re coming from and I respect your opinion.

Sadly when push comes to shove if we do lose Hazard next Summer I doubt we’ll get anywhere near £200m for him with just a year left on his contract probably closer to £100m imo if we’re lucky which won’t reflect his true value but I still hope probably in vain it doesn’t come to that. Cheers 999

Eden Hazard TEAMtalk

No problem let him fulfill the reminder of his contract. 28 in two/three months could be his last chance. If he doesn’t sign keep him until he is 29. And let him join them for free in the summer of 2020. In that period if we return to the CL its worthwhile in my opinion. One day in the future there will be no Hazard, and we need to be prepared for that day psychologically. We have a new very good gaffer now. With CL in the mix we can attract quality players.

I totally agree with Zizi, Hazard should either ship or shape himself. We have no room for more drama. The clock is ticking on both sides. He should make his mind until January weather to sign a contract or leave in the summer. And if Real Madrid doesn’t meet our demands. He should run down his contract while we look for a suitable replacement.

Chelsea.man

I’m afraid to say this looks like a done deal at some near point in time. I will always wish him well and probably make a point of watching him when possible but I for one have failed to see what attraction le Liga has even though I do watch it a bit mainly when Messi plays. All the same whether it’s Hazard, Lampard, Terry, Drogba, Zola or anyone Chelsea have always flourished this century with or without them and will continue to do so.

Blueowner

He can b*gger off for all you care Zizi. Certainly don’t speak for myself and most likely others.

Love having him at Chelsea and he is being open and honest. When the season ends and if he leaves best wishes to him. I reckon he will sign some form of contract to ensure Chelsea get top money for him. He appears to have more or less insinuated that without actually saying so.

Roman and Hazard probably have an agreement going on which will be initiated when the time is right. Roman isn’t stupid not to have something in train with a player of Hazard’s ilk running down a contract to nothing.

Arsenal’s new kit deal

Things are changing boys and girls…we are slowly turnina corner to my mind, no idea why its taken so long after the move to the Emirates and the former success we had but we are getting there, 3rd highest shirt deal after Man U and Barca…..

steveosnakeye

Good stuff Stevo double the money too. Can only be good for the Club. Similar value to Chelsea’s but ours runs 15 years which seems a bit long to me and in 15 years time I expect Club’s being paid a lot more than £60m.

Have a look at the Der Spiegel thread on the main site mate I’ve been trying to head it off at the pass but Roman’s post looks very heavy to me??? Hopefully it all ends there now.

Liverpool ‘dreadful’

I don’t see what all the positivity is about. Yet again we were dreadful. Created nothing, couldn’t pass the ball, couldn’t keep the ball and worst of all we didn’t even bother pressing. The one thing we used to do better than anyone else and we can’t remember how to do it. We were lucky not to lose and even luckier to have 20 points. There’s a point when you stop applauding ‘good’ teams that are grinding out results and realise that they’re actually just sh*t.

That’s us now. 8 games in and not a single one of them have we played remotely well in. We have absolutely no hope of silverware this year unless Klopp drastically alters the way we play. The front three should all be dropped and Sturridge & Shaqiri should start up top for a prolonged period.

Play a diamond behind them with Keita at the tip and Fabinho at the bottom. Wijnaldum (who has been a lonely shining light so far this year) and Milner sit in the middle.

robbieno_9

Klopp will never change his formation and will likely stick with the front three for the foreseeable. Our midfield is not creating but that isn’t the main reason the fab three are pants. They can’t control the ball, pass or finish. That’s all of them. Wouldn’t be so bad if it were just one or even two. People keep saying they will hit form soon but they may not. We have got away with it so far, we won’t continue to do so and we can’t rely on our defence to have a shutout every game. Here’s hoping things change after the break because they need to.

shanksy

Whilst it’s clear we can do better, not convinced completely changing the formation, dropping the club captain, dropping 3 guys that scored a shed load of goals last season and whilst haven’t hit those dizzy heights yet are still integral to our way of playing, and playing a guy who’s not exactly got the greatest injury record. Maybe in preseason, but not whilst joint top and with a shout at a title fight.

This season our play has changed a little. We are not pressing as much as last year, maybe Klopp has seen how we burn out both during a season and towards the end of a game. Against City it was clear our fullbacks were nowhere near as adventurous as usual, a sign of the considerable threat City posed on the break. There have been many miss-controls, misplaced passes and lack of cohesion up front but that should change as the season goes on, and Klopp can hardly be blamed for that. We are much more solid defensively, but maybe at a cost of the attack potency and a reduction in the press. Something we as fans may struggle to get used to!

Klopp needs to trust his squad more

Daniel Sturridge TEAMtalk

Jurgen needs to trust more of the squad. We have played 12 games yet studge and Shaqiri have only started two games. The midfield 3 look tired all ready so keita and fabhino need more game time

Shanks agree with that. The touch is deserting us up top. We’re not moving the mall quick enough and our final ball and players touch is poor. The lads are struggling to control the ball.

We took a while to get going last season abd were dropping points but this season we are not losing. Plenty to be positive about robieno. We have dropped 4 points in 8 games. It’s a very good start

Front three burnt out?

After a stellar season for our front 3 that included a magnifecent run in the champions lg and then the world cup in the summer, i think our front 3 has reached an absolute burnout. Mentally theyre just exhausted. Salah has had a record breaking season. Firmino i think scored his best ever goal tally for us. Im afraid all those high intensity games and relentless pressing has taken its toll on them.

Klopp keep giving them games in the hope they click into gear soon when they probably need some rest. For the first time in a long time im actually glad we got the international break. Hopefully, the less intense international friendlies is just the tonic our front 3 need to get their hunger n sharpness back.

Banging heads not the way forward at United

You can bang as many heads as you want Tommy, and I’m old school so I’d love to see it, but that won’t make those players better than City’s. And in the long run, the better players almost always come out on top. So, unless the fix is just to make things a bit better, banging heads isn’t the fix mate. And if the club won’t splash more cash, fine, that’s up to them, but that’s what it’ll take.

As for Fellaini UWW, I don’t think anyone would choose to have him at the club never mind as a regular, but he’s done a decent job, not just as someone to aim at up front, but also as a deep lying midfielder. I’m afraid credit where credit’s due is in pretty short supply on this forum.

jm1502

Pogba nominated for ballon dor; he won’t win it but decent achievement nonetheless. People are talking about getting rid no chance captain material for me. By all accounts he advised Jose of playing in defence he contributed massively to sorting that shower of sh*t on Saturday.

united_we-win

I think we’ve got better players than you make out though jm1502, maybe not as good as city but certainly a lot better than you make out. I think Mourinho should be getting more out of them and I think the players themselves could be doing far far more and stop acting like slapped arses.

I reckon Lukaku twanging a hamstring on international duty would not be the worst thing in the world. The cheeky fat **** telling the crowd to start singing when he can’t sprint ten yards is an insult to all the quality centre forwards that have gone before him.

Jose Mourinho TEAMtalk

Only saw the highlights now, was at Oktoberfest all weekend, that second half was the first obvious bit of passion I’ve seen from a lot of those players. It’s about time they stood up and be counted, be men. I don’t know what the future holds for José but the players need to keep showing some commitment whoever is in charge, José or whoever! If only for themselves, so they can look themselves in the mirror, but then that mightn’t be high on a lot of their lists, hopefully it is

Killyboye

I’m not so sure the club can afford not to spend money! If we lose DeGea and Pogba we are in even deeper sh*t and I’m not sure any half decent player will want to join us especially the way this club is being run. Top players want to win things as well get big money and even DeGea has finally realised he ain’t going to win much with this club anymore!
