Away form not great for Liverpool

Including the CL Final we’ve lost our last SIX away from Anfield in the CL.

Domestically, we’ve only won one out of the last six away from home in all comps.

Keita missed training today.

1-1 tomorrow and we progress.

Start with Lallana…

Adam Lallana Liverpool

Great review from Munich perspective

Bayern Munich have all the confidence in the world, and all the pressure

If our midfield is not wasteful with their passes (as they have been sometimes away from home) when in possession then I think we can do really well. If not it may be a long night. This season Klopp has favoured the balls over the top to take advantage of the pace of our front three. But other teams cotton on to this and force our midfielders into making bad passes then we have struggled.

Lallana performance was perfect timing for the said comments above. If Lallana starts and has a great game he gives us that dynamism that we have mau=ybe needed in some away games.

Usually goes for safety and starts one from Hendo, Gini, Fabinho or Milner on away days. Good players but away from home they have had some mixed performances probably due to the fact that they don’t have much creativity. It’s a tricky one. Does Klopp go for defensive safety or picks one form Keita/Shaq/Lalanna to foster some creative spice in that midfield.

Personally, I wouls say go for a little bit of creativity in that midfield. Go fo it and start with one of Keita/Shaq/Lalanna. Use that creative edge in midfield to get the ball to our front three and kill off the game with an away goal or two.

Please don’t throw this Klopp

Liverpool FC v Burnley FC - Premier League

I just hope that Klopp does not throw this game in the misguided belief that this will allow us to then win the EPL. Anything is possible with this manager considering his daft policy of consistently playing a B team for the FA/League cups.

This cup is one we can now win after PSG and Real were knocked out and I hope Klopp goes for this tomorrow and does not play a weakened team. Its bad enough having to accomodate his bizarre subs without going through each season attempting to compete for only one trophy.

The midfield looks like it’s gonna be 3 from Fabinho, Hendo, Wij and Milner.
I think the rest of the team picks itself.

Alisson is the man

Hope I don’t jinx the lad tonight and for the rest of the season but what a goal keeper.

So perfect for the way we play aswell. I really had my doubts about him but he’s been brilliant

I still get quite nervous when he has the ball sometimes but the chap oozes confidence.

Commands his box well, very quick reactions and can start attack’s. Him and vvd look bargains at the minute

The spine of a great team is just about there. No matter what happens this season , if we can keep everyone and add a few more then we will just get better.

Karius needs a break

You know what, he just needs to have a 12 month break for football. Regroup, stay fit, meditate, get some counsel and come back with sleeves rolled. Hope he makes it. He’s a bit of a tit but hope he makes it.

Grealish the man?

Jack Grealish is the man Liverpool (and Chelsea and Arsenal) need…
