Klopp urges Liverpool fans to ditch ‘disrespectful’ nickname
Jurgen Klopp has revealed that he finds the ‘Fab Four’ nickname given to Liverpool’s front quartet ‘desrespectful’.
Mo Salah, Philippe Coutinho, Roberto Firmino and Sadio Mane have established themselves as one of Europe’s leading frontlines, scoring a combined 25 Premier League goals so far this season.
The quartet have dominated the Liverpool headlines so far this season, but Klopp feels his other players are being overlooked.
Asked whether Salah, Coutinho, Firmino and Mane will play against Everton, Klopp replied: “I have no problem with nicknames like ‘Fab Four’ but that’s disrespectful to other players.
“We played a fantastic game with West Ham and Ox was involved. Adam Lallana has not been fit but he would fit in well with any boyband on the planet.
“Sturridge, Solanke…it’s not fair on them.
“We have to wait to make a line up. They are all really good offensive players.”
