Klopp working on replacements as Liverpool trio move towards exit

Liverpool are working replacements for three players who are set to leave Anfield this summer, according to the latest reports.

Despite capturing a sixth European Cup in Madrid last weekend and coming painfully close to winning the Premier League, Jurgen Klopp is still expected to oversee a number of ins and outs this summer.

A major overhaul is not expected by any means, and the most notable bits of business could be trimming squad players, and the Mirror‘s David Maddock reports that three could be on their way.

The exits of Daniel Sturridge and Alberto Moreno are seemingly a formality this summer, as both are on expiring deals and the latter is already attracting interest from abroad.

The report goes on to state that Adam Lallana could join Sturridge and Moreno as another high-profile name to leave Anfield in the coming transfer window, with the Reds ‘open to offers’ for the 31-year-old.

The midfielder only played 568 minutes over 16 games this past season, but Liverpool are apparently still keen on signing a replacement for him as well as cover at left-back.

James Milner, Jordan Henderson, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, Fabinho, Gini Wijnaldum and Naby Keita would be left as the options in the middle of the park for Klopp, should Lallana depart.
