League One fixtures 2015/16

Blackpool, who ended the last Championship season well adrift at the bottom, go to Colchester United on August 8, while Millwall travel to Shrewsbury Town, one of the four sides promoted from League Two.

League Two champions Burton Albion are at home on the opening day, with Scunthorpe making the trip down from North Lincolnshire to the Pirelli Stadium.

Promoted Bury travel across the Pennines to take on Doncaster Rovers while Southend United have one of the longer opening day trips as they were handed a tough fixture against Fleetwood Town.

Sheffield United, among the favourites for promotion, start their season with a trip to Gillingham and there is an opening day derby for Crewe Alexandra and Port Vale at Gresty Road.
