Leeds United have completed the signing of Chelsea goalkeeper Jamal Blackman on a season-long loan, it has been confirmed.
“Blackman joins the club from Premier League side Chelsea and becomes the second signing of the summer transfer window.”
The 24-year-old spent last season on loan with fellow Championship outfit Sheffield United, keeping nine clean sheets in 33 appearances in all competitions.
The 6ft 7in stopper has also spent time on loan with both Ostersunds FK and Wycombe Wanderers, impressing with the League Two outfit.
Blackman has been capped by England at youth level from U16s to U19s, and is expected to battle another talented young goalkeeper in Bailey Peacock-Farrell for the No.1 shirt.
