Struggling champions Leicester City are ready to pounce on Inter Milan target Francesco Acerbi in January, according to reports in Italy.
Calciomercato have revealed that the Foxes are set to take full advantage of the Fifa Financial Fair-Play restrictions forced up Inter Milan and steal the Sassuolo centre-back away from their grasp.
The 28-year-old has continued to impress for the Serie A outfit after recovering from testicular cancer and is said to have ambitions of playing for a bigger club in order to help him command a regular spot for the national team.
Leicester are believed to have made a €10million bid for Acerbi, but Sassuolo are trying to hold out for at least €15million.
