Lita back with a bang for Canaries

The on-loan Reading striker, who missed last weekend’s defeat at Reading due to the terms of his loan, shot past Rob Elliot in the 60th minute to claim the win.

The defeat piled the pressure on Charlton’s caretaker boss Phil Parkinson who has been given until at least the New Year to reverse the club’s dismal form.

For Norwich the victory halted their slide down the table and ended a run of consecutive defeats.

Mark Hudson unleashed a fine volley from 20 yards in the first half but Norwich goalkeeper David Marshall pulled off a fantastic save. And Marshall repelled Hameur Bouazza’s effort from 12 yards before Lita struck.

The striker drilled home a left-footed shot following Sammy Clingan’s assist.
