Luan: Linked with Premier League move

A third club have reportedly joined Liverpool and Premier League champions Leicester in the race to sign Gremio and Brazil striker Luan.

According to French outlet RMC, Ligue 1 side Rennes have also expressed firm interest in the 23-year-old who has continued to catch the eye for his host nation at the Rio Olympics.

Liverpool saw a bid rejected earlier this month for the forward, but are said to have retained an interest in the 2014 Toulon tournament winner while Leicester were told to stump up £20m for his services back in June.

Rennes have stepped up their search for a new front man after being particularly wasteful in their opening-day 1-0 defeat to Nice last week.
