Liverpool and Arsenal are set to rival Spurs for the signing of a Watford enforcer, according to a reports.
It was claimed earlier on Thursday that Tottenham boss Mauricio Pochettino was impressed by French midfielder Abdoulaye Doucoure when he scouted the midfielder on Monday night.
However, according to the Daily Mail, Pochettino is not the only manager interested in acquiring the 25-year-old, as Liverpool and Arsenal are also keen.
The former Rennes star, who cost Watford £8million in 2016, is under contract until 2020 but the Hornets are trying to tie him down to a new £60,000-a-week deal to ward off any interest from potential suitors.
However, should they opt to sell at the end of the season then a fee of more than the £20million they received from Chinese Super League side Changchun Yatai for Odion Ighalo is expected.
Doucoure has scored eight goals in 50 Premier League appearances since moving to Vicarage Road.
