Liverpool have joined Paris Saint-Germain in the race to sign a Brazilian Serie A goalkeeper, according to reports from Italy.
La Gazzetta dello Sport claims that AS Roma’s shot-stopper Alisson is in the viewfinder of PSG and Liverpool this January, as well as Barcelona.
Roma currently have the best defensive record in Serie A, with only 12 goals conceded in 18 games, and Alisson has been credited with playing a large part in that.
The 25-year-old has kept clean sheets in exactly half of his performances so far this season, leading to the aforementioned trio stepping up interest.
However, the report claims that Roma would not consider selling Alisson this January, while it would take a big offer for them to even consider selling in the summer.
Meanwhile, the player is concentrating on two objectives: namely to win the World Cup with Brazil and the Scudetto with his club. The Brazil No.1 has a contract with Roma until 2021.
