Liverpool eyeing summer swoop for German Juventus star
Liverpool are lining up a summer move for an experienced Serie A midfielder, according to the latest reports.
The Sun claims that Jurgen Klopp has set his sights on a swoop for German international Sami Khedira in the upcoming transfer window.
Their report states that he Reds have held talks with the Bianconeri over a possible move, who recently admitted his desire to move to the Premier League.
“English football has always tempted me and it’s true the English title would be a nice addition for my collection, but this should not be a plea. It’s difficult to plan your future in football anyway, because it’s so fast,” he told Bild.
Reports in Italy have also mentioned Chelsea as potential suitors for the 31-year-old.
