Manchester United, Liverpool and Barcelona are set to miss out as a Flamengo star is reportedly set to seal an AC Milan move.
Italian journalist Andersinho Marques claimed that the representative of Lucas Paqueta, Eduardo Uram, had travelled to Europe to initially discuss a move with AC Milan, despite Liverpool being very much in the running for his signature.
Globo Esporte stated that Paqueta will be made available for transfer by Flamengo in the January transfer window, with a fee of around £27million being mooted.
Now, the same outlet is reporting that an agreement has been struck between Milan and Flamengo over a €35million deal.
An announcement could be made this week by both clubs, the report states, with the player carrying out his medical ahead of the move.
Flamengo CEO Bruno Spindel apparently secured the deal personally in Milan, with Barcelona and PSG the other teams with serious interest in the player.
