Liverpool have offered unwanted forward Daniel Sturridge to Newcastle for £15million, according to reports.
The former England man has fallen completely out of favour at Anfield after struggling with a string of injury problems.
He spent the second half of last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion, but was unable to prevent them suffering relegation after once again finding himself sidelined by injury.
Sturridge reportedly rejected the chance to join Newcastle then, but the Chronicle report he is low down boss Rafa Benitez’s list of priorities this time.
Liverpool, though, are keen to offload the 28-year old, with Sevilla, Besiktas, and Fenerbahce also possible destinations.
