Liverpool squad man completes potential £8m switch to Hull
Hull City have confirmed the signing of midfielder Kevin Stewart from Liverpool in an initial £4million deal.
The midfielder was allowed to leave the Reds’ squad out in Hong Kong on Wednesday, flying to Portugal where he underwent a medical with Hull, before agreeing personal terms.
The deal for the 23-year-old could reach up to £8million based on add-ons and his success at the KCOM Stadium.
Stewart, who was signed from Tottenham in the summer of 2014 on a free transfer, made just nine appearances for Jurgen Klopp’s first team last season, and only clocked up 16 minutes of action in the Premier League.

Despite that, the player was always well regarded by Klopp and was rewarded with a new five-year deal in November.
