Liverpool have reportedly joined the race to sign highly-rated 17-year-old attacker Mohammed Daramy from FC Copenhagen.

Daramy made his debut for the Danish club back in December 2018 and has already scored five times for the club, despite his tender age, and also featured twice in the Europa League.

And according to reports on 90MIN, the Reds are one of a number of clubs to have sent scouts to watch the young attacker in action.

Liverpool have turned their focus to signing younger players since securing their sixth European Cup title at the end of last season, with the Harvey Elliott and Seb Van Den Berg being brought in.

It would appear that Daramy could be the next young talent to arrive on Merseyside, where he would compete with the likes of Rhian Brewster to force his way into the Liverpool set up.

Jurgen Klopp’s men will have a battle on their hands to sign the player, however, with Borussia Dortmund, RB Leipzig and Celtic also said to be in the running for the young forward.
