Liverpool, Spurs on alert as agent of £44m target denies Inter deal

The agent of a top Liverpool , Tottenham and Chelsea target has revealed that a proposed move to Inter Milan for his client has not been agreed.

The player in question is Bordeaux winger Malcom, who had been rumoured to be close to completing a switch to the Serie A giants.

However, the agent of the Brazilian has given hope to the Premier League trio by insisting that a move to Italy has not been sanctioned.

Fernando Garcia said: “There’s no deal at all with Inter.

“They are of course a great club, but Malcom is a professional, and, all things considered, the right formula can’t be no buy-back option.

“The buy-back must be mandatory, otherwise Bordeaux will keep on saying no.

“I’m definitely not able to state where my client’s future is going to be, at this time.”

Malcom notched 12 goals and provided 7 assists in 35 Ligue 1 appearances last season and is valued at around the £44million mark.

It is rumoured that both Liverpool and Chelsea recently held talks with Garcia regarding the 21-year-old, while Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettinho has previously stated his interest in a player who nearly joined Arsenal last summer.
