Liverpool and Tottenham are watching Brighton defender Ben White, according to a report.
The Sun claim a host of Premier League clubs are tracking the 20-year-old centre-back, who is on loan at League Two outfit Newport.
White has impressed watching scouts this season after making 40 appearances for the Welsh club, including two games against Tottenham in the FA Cup.
White, who signed on a season-long loan for the Exiles, dealt admirably with Harry Kane and Fernando Llorente and co. and he has turned down the offer of a new contract at Brighton
Apparently Spurs and Liverpool are aware of White’s situation with the right-footed star’s contract set to expire in June 2019.
Newport boss Michael Flynn rates White highly and was delighted to secure his services.
“I wish I had three of him! I want to clone him,” Newport boss Flynn told the South Wales Argus in September.
“He’s outstanding and he’s fitting in with the ethics that we have at the club. His attitude is outstanding. He trains every day with the right attitude and the kid has got a bright future.
“I don’t like putting pressure on people but I’ll be surprised if he doesn’t get a full international cap.”
