Liverpool eye €120m Barca speedster as Real step up Salah interest

Liverpool are reportedly lining up a replacement winger amid fears Mohamed Salah could leave Anfield for Real Madrid in the summer.

There are widespread reports that star man Salah is attracting interest from European giants Real Madrid, and having seen Philippe Coutinho leave for Barcelona in January, Jurgen Klopp will be wary of the risk of losing another key man.

The Egypt international has been in amazing form since his arrival from Roma last summer, scoring 36 goals in all competitions.

According to Don Balon, Real have stepped up their interest in Salah, and this has caused Liverpool to turn to Barcelona’s Ousmane Dembele as a replacement.

Dembele has struggled to settle in since moving to the Nou Camp from Dortmund, falling out of favour under manager Ernesto Valverde after injury problems.

Don Balon also recently linked the 20-year-old Frenchman with a €120million move to Chelsea, but the latest report suggests Coutinho’s sale to Barca could help the Reds’ cause.
