Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Adrien Rabiot is demanding a wage of €5million season, according to a report.
The France midfielder has been offered new terms in the French capital but he has so far refused to sign up with his current deal set to expire next summer.
Rabiot, 23, can walk away from PSG for free next summer and they are desperate to keep hold of the player, who has been linked with Liverpool, Barcelona, Juventus and AC Milan.
However, Calciomercato claim Rabiot is looking for around £86,000 a week to pen a new deal.
New PSG boss Thomas Tuchel wants to build a team around the disciplined Rabiot and they are believed to have already resisted bids from Barcelona and Inter for the player.
Liverpool though have also been linked with Rabiot, according to reports in France.
L’Equipe claimed last week that Barca could yet come back in for him before the transfer window closes at the end of the month.
But it’s also claimed that Rabiot is also emerging as a target for Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp and it’s suggested the Reds could sign the player on a pre-contract agreement in January, if he turns down a move to the Camp Nou.
PSG boss Thomas Tuchel has admitted he fears Rabiot, who played in PSG’s win over Guingamp on Saturday, is likely to leave.
“It’s not certain if Adrien stays at PSG. It all depends on him,” he said after last Sunday’s 3-0 win against Caen.
“For me he’s a great player. He can grow even more and become a top player.”
