Lyon president Jean-Michal Aulas does not believe Arsenal are interested in Alexandre Lacazette.
The striker has been subject of bids from West Ham and reported interest from Arsenal and Juventus.
However, Aulas told L’Equipe that he has spoken to Arsene Wenger and does not think Arsenal will make a bid.
Instead, Aulas believes that Lacazette would like to stay with Lyon. Well, he would say that.
“I saw Arsene during France matches and he has not told me [of any interest in Lacazette],” Aulas told L’Equipe.
“I don’t think it’s something and it seems Alex wants to spend this season with Lyon in the new stadium.
“He wants to know an adventure in the Champions League could be much better than last season. I think he will stay with us and we are very happy.”
