Man City identify France star as ideal Leroy Sane replacement

Manchester City want Bayern Munich’s Kingsley Coman to replace Leroy Sane if the German goes ahead with a summer move to the Bundesliga champions, according to reports.
Sane, who is currently out with a serious knee injury he picked up in August’s Community Shield victory over Liverpool, has long been linked with a move to the German top flight.
Reports suggested that part of the reason why the move fell through was due to the injury but Bayern, whose approaches for the winger were made public, are said to still be keen on him.
According to Sky Sports News, Sane is expected to follow through with his move to Bayern next summer with the Premier League champions wanting to bring France international Coman to the club in his place.
The source says that City boss Pep Guardiola managed Coman while he was Bayern boss and views the 23-year-old as the ideal man to replace Sane if he does leave the club.
Coman has scored 28 goals in all competitions for Bayern since moving to the club from Juventus in 2017.
City, meanwhile, face Chelsea in the Premier League next Saturday looking to bounce back from their 3-1 defeat to Liverpool last time out.
