Man City set Sane asking price at £137m as Bayern prepare bid
Manchester City have set their price for Leroy Sane amid continuing interest from Bayern Munich, according to reports.
Sane has been heavily linked with a move away from the Etihad Stadium this summer, after seeing his gametime reduce despite recording 10 goals and assists in the league last season.
Bayern Munich have identified him as a top target to help fill the void left by legends Arjen Robben and Franck Ribery, who both departed at the end of their contracts in June.
However, the Bundesliga champions tweeted on Thursday night, denying that they had reached an agreement with the winger.
News reports made today stating that Leroy Sané has decided to join FC Bayern do not correspond to the facts.

Despite this, the Telegraph report that City have determined a £137m asking price for Sane.
The Premier League champions are still confident that Sane will sign a contract renewal, having received no formal bids for him to date.
It is claimed in Germany that Bayern had been preparing a bid worth €80m (£73m) for the 23-year-old, but they will clearly have to go much higher if they want to sign him.
Bayern still have a month left to complete any signings, and it is claimed that City would not look to sign a replacement for Sane – so the German side are set to keep pushing for him even beyond the closure of the Premier League transfer window.
