Man Utd boosted as £70m target changes stance on Premier League switch

Manchester United target Milan Skriniar is re-evaluating his stance on a move to the Premier League, according to reports.
Skriniar has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United having impressed at centre-back in Serie A for Inter Milan and Sampdoria in recent seasons. Manchester City and Barcelona have also been tipped to make a move for the 23-year-old Slovakian.
The defender has previously reiterated how content he is in Serie A, claiming that he does not pay attention to transfer rumours about himself, but according to La Gazzetta Dello Sport, he has re-assessed his options and is now more open to a move to the Premier League. Skriniar is aware of interest in him from several clubs, and finds the idea of playing in England intriguing.
Consequently, he is delaying negotiations for a new contract, with a view to leaving the Italian club next summer. Inter value him at £70m, although that estimation could rise if he continues to impress this term.
Skriniar has started eight of Inter’s 10 games in all competitions this season, and played in every one of their 38 Serie A matches last year.
