Paulo Dybala could be on the radar of a number of Premier League clubs as his contract talks with Juventus continue to stall, a report claims.
Dybala will be out of contract at Juventus in 2022, and there are no plans to discuss a renewal until the New Year. If those delays continue further, then both parties will have to consider their options.
Juventus would not want to lose such a highly-rated player for free, so would have a decision to make if they failed to convince him to extend his contract.
If Dybala was to be on the move, several clubs would be interested in his services. He was linked with Premier League clubs last summer, but turned down Manchester United and Tottenham.
Now, though, a move to England could be more likely. According to 90min, Dybala’s representatives have offered him to the Premier League’s ‘big six’.
That means United and Tottenham could be on alert again. But Liverpool, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea have also been told they could have a chance to sign him.
In fact, the latter were linked with the 27-year-old back in October. However, there were claims at the time that Roman Abramovich did not want to sign another attacker.
Now, the report claims Dybala has opened the door to a Premier League move in 2021. However, the clubs he has been offered to want to ensure he is fully committed to the idea before making a bid.
The Argentine still would be happy to stay at Juventus, but may need more guarantees over playing time. He has only started six games in all competitions so far this season, scoring just once.
Therefore, he wants to make a decision that will benefit his long-term future. That could push him away from Turin.
PSG also considering Dybala
The Premier League would not be the only potential destination for Dybala. He is also attracting interest from Paris Saint-Germain in Ligue 1.
PSG are bracing themselves for bids for Kylian Mbappe in 2021, with Real Madrid particularly interested. If Mbappe leaves, they will need a replacement.
Dybala could be an option, and he would not be out of PSG’s price range. Acquiring extra funds from a big sale of Mbappe would only help them afford him.
Therefore, Premier League clubs will be waiting for Dybala to firm up his plans before deciding whether to respond to the advances of his entourage.
