Manchester United chief Ed Woodward will seal a deal for a Juventus star when Jose Mourinho gives him the go-ahead, a report claims.

Brazilian defender Alex Sandro is believed to be top of Jose Mourinho’s wanted list and The Times recently claimed that United have agreed personal terms with the 27-year-old, only to find an agreement with Juventus out of their reach.

Sources in France recently suggested that Sandro has also agreed terms with PSG, and fancies following the footsteps of countryman Dani Alves by moving from Turin to the France capital.

However, Mourinho is not finished with his pursuit of the former Porto man, with The Independent claiming that the United boss will make another move for the defender this summer.

They also state that the Serie A champions have named their price for Sandro, which has been widely reported as around £60m.

Mourinho is reportedly still targeting a move for a new left-back despite the recent arrival of Diogo Dalot, who can play both full-back positions, and sees Sandro as the perfect solution.
