Manchester United are reportedly interested in signing Mexican starlet Francisco Sebastian Cordova.
The 22-year-old midfielder plays for Club America in Mexico and has netted three goals in his last seven appearances, prompting interest from Europe.
Cordova won his first senior cap for Mexico earlier this year and A Bola report that Sevilla and Benfica, along with United are also interested in the player.
An attacking midfielder, who can also play on the left he is seen to be one for the future with the Daily Mail rating Cordova in the £4m bracket.
Cordova made his debut for Mexico last week in a friendly against Trinidad and Tobago and impressed by providing an assist in the 2-0 victory with United scouts in attendance at the game.
United are expected to spend in January and next summer with the need for creativity one of the things that Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side are crying out for.
Cordova would certainly fit that criteria, while he is also the right age to fit with United’s policy of signing young players with potential.
Dan James, 21, and Aaron Wan-Bissaka, 21, were added to the squad in the summer and both have made promising starts to their Old Trafford careers.
