Man Utd, Man City kept apart as FA Cup quarter-final draw is made

Manchester United will face Wolves, while Manchester City will play Swansea after the draw for the FA Cup quarter-finals was made.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s side, who eliminated holders Chelsea from the competition with an impressive 2-0 victory on Monday evening, next face

Pep Guardiola’s men, meanwhile, had to overcome a plucky League Two Newport on Saturday evening and continue their quest in Wales again, this time against Championship outfit Swansea.

Millwall, the lowest ranked side left in the competition, will play Brighton.

The draw was made by former United star Darren Fletcher and Wayne Bridge, who lifted the trophy with Chelsea in 2007.


The FA Cup quarter-final draw:

Swansea City v Manchester City

Watford v Crystal Palace

Wolves v Manchester United

Millwall v Brighton


The ties will be played from 15-18 March, with clubs receiving £720,000 in prize money if they reach the semi-finals.
