Man Utd method to sign Sancho revealed as transfer expert insists deal is ‘not over’ with ‘talks ongoing’

A scenario in which Man Utd could yet sign Jadon Sancho has been outlined after a transfer guru insisted the club’s hopes are ‘not over by a long shot’.
The Red Devils made no secret of their desire to sign the England superstar this summer.
But despite lengthy negotiations, all hope of a deal appeared to fade in the last few days.
However, according to Sky Sports’ transfer expert Dharmesh Sheth, a scenario remains that could still see Sancho lining up at Old Trafford next season.
Sheth said: “I’ve been in touch with our colleagues at Sky Germany… and they are convinced that Sancho won’t be moving from Dortmund to United and he will be staying. On face value, it’s deal off. But I’m not so sure. Never say never with transfers.
“We know Sancho is willing to go to Old Trafford and I’m told there is potential for him to push for a move to United if they do something they haven’t done up until this point which is make a substantial offer.
“In a way, Zorc and Watzke could save face here – they’re saying Sancho will be with Dortmund next season.
“It could be looked at in another way though and putting the onus on Sancho to come out and say, ‘perhaps I do want to talk to United’ and they Watzke and Zorc can turn round to the fans and say, ‘we were planning on him staying, but what can we do if a player doesn’t want to be at Dortmund?’.
“United remain quite relaxed on their part.
“Their position has not changed, he remains their No 1 target this summer and they feel like any deadlines imposed by Dortmund is a little bit artificial and the transfer window doesn’t close until October 5. Furthermore, the €120m valuation is far too high in the current climate.
“There have been a few reports on social media from respected journalists sang that Sancho has agreed personal terms with United.
“I’m told this is simply not the case, but talks are ongoing between Sancho’s representatives and United.
“Something tells me this is not over by a long shot.”
Man Utd enticed by Juventus swap?
Manchester United are willing to consider a swap deal with Juventus between Paul Pogba and Paulo Dybala, claim reports in Italy.
Pogba has spent his entire professional career between United and Juventus. Since returning to Old Trafford in 2016 for what was a world record fee at the time, though, he has endured mixed fortunes.
However, the number six has begun to show his best form again in the latter stages of the 2019-20 season. Therefore, United have been looking at extending his contract.
Pogba’s current deal will expire next summer, although United have the option to extend it by a further year. If they hesitate, though, then Juventus will look to lure him back to Turin.
