Lazio star Sergej Milinkovic-Savic has dropped a big hint over a possible summer exit, but it is not good news for Manchester United.

Reports last month claimed that the 23-year-old wants to move to Old Trafford because of his desire to work under current United boss Jose Mourinho.

In addition, there has been widespread speculation that the Red Devils will go all out to sign Milinkovic-Savic should Paul Pogba leave this summer.

The report quoted Italian football agent Marco Materazzi, who claims the deal is basically already done: “In my opinion, he [Milinkovic-Savic] has already been sold for a few months to a team, Manchester United, which is waiting to sell a big name, Pogba, to formalise the Serbian’s arrival.”

Now however, Milinkovic-Savic has dealt a blow to United’s chances of landing him by liking an Instagram post captioned “I would like to see Milinkovic-Savic at Juventus”. The like was then swiftly removed once people began to notice.

Juventus are one of the clubs competing with the Red Devils for the €120m-rated Serbia international, but Lazio are not interested in a player swap deal and instead would demand straight cash.
