A €100million Manchester United target is reportedly pushing for a January exit after becoming unhappy at his current club.
Reports on Wednesday suggested that Manchester United are eyeing Jan Oblak as a potential replacement for David De Gea.
De Gea’s deal runs out in summer 2019, although United do have an option to extend it by a further year – something that has so far failed to materialise.
Caughtoffside.com also recently claimed that the player’s agent Jorge Mendes could possibly broker a deal to take his client to Juventus.
Reports from The Telegraph suggest that United fear they will lose the former Atletico man on a free transfer and have started eyeing possible replacements.
United will be boosted by the latest claims from Marca, who report Oblak is so unhappy with life at Atleti that he will look to secure a move away in January.
Oblak addressed exit talk in a recent interview: “My future?”I don’t know, yes for the moment I am here.”
The 25-year-old has a deal until 2021 which makes Atletico calm about the situation, however he has not received improved terms since 2016, meaning the situation could reach breaking point.
