Manchester United have seen a €65m bid for Inter Milan star Milan Skriniar rejected, according to reports in Italy.

La Gazzetta dello Sport claim that the Red Devils are long time admirers of Skriniar, who was hugely impressive in his debut season for Inter.

Barcelona and Manchester City have also recently been linked with a move for the Slovakia international, however the Serie A giants reportedly consider him unsellable.

Inter signed Skriniar from Sampdoria for €23million last summer and his brilliant campaign has seen his value rocket to an incredible €80m, according to reports on Friday.

Skriniar, who has also been linked with Liverpool, recently revealed his happiness in Milan when he spoke about the transfer speculation.

The 23-year-old said: “The transfer market? I don’t know the market and I don’t even talk about it, maybe Barcelona or other clubs are interested in me, but again, I’m not interested in this”.

However, the latest reports suggest that Mourinho has turned to Skriniar after so far drawing a blank in his efforts to land Toby Alderweireld from Tottenham.
